Heather Jermak, Esq.
Associate Attorney
Heather Jermak is an experienced trial attorney with a practice focused on civil defense litigation, including premises and automobile liability, products liability, no fault, and loss transfer claims. She also has substantial experience handling matrimonial and family law matters. In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Jermak regularly provides counsel to clients in arbitration and mediation proceedings, including matters before the American Arbitration Association.
Ms. Jermak began her legal career in 2000 in New Orleans, Louisiana, as in-house counsel with the Law Offices of Frederick A. Miller and Associates. Since that time, she has developed a broad and well-rounded practice, representing clients with professionalism, diligence, and a thoughtful approach to dispute resolution.
Ms. Jermak earned her undergraduate degree from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio (1995), where she was a member of the Honors College, and received her Juris Doctor from Tulane Law School (2000). She was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in 2000, the Texas State Bar in 2007, and the New York State Bar in 2009. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Louisiana and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Ms. Jermak is an active member of the New York State Bar Association, the Erie County Bar Association, where she serves on the Negligence and Matrimonial Committees, and the Buffalo Claims Association.
Outside the office, Ms. Jermak enjoys spending time with her husband, their three children, and their dog, Iris.
